Payment is required before work can commence. All work is completed fully remotely. Invoices are due within 7 days by BACS transfer. Where payment is not received within 7 days, a 10% penalty fee will be applied for every week the invoice remains outstanding.

GENERAL

How do we get started?

The first step is a free introductory call so we can talk through where you are and what support would make the biggest difference. There is no obligation and no sales pitch. Just an honest conversation.

Do I need to sign anything before we begin?

Yes. Before any work starts I will ask you to sign a Terms of Business so that everything is clear and agreed from day one. This protects both of us.

Are there any additional costs I should know about?

My hourly rate covers all time spent on your tasks. If any additional costs are incurred on your behalf, such as postage or supplies, these will always be agreed with you in advance and charged separately at cost price.

What if I need something that is not listed?

Get in touch and tell me what you are dealing with. If I can help, I will let you know. If not, I will point you in the right direction.

Hours & availability

What happens to unused hours?

Any unused retainer hours will roll over for one calendar month. After that they will expire. I will always keep you updated on your usage so nothing catches you off guard.

Can I top up my retainer hours?

Yes. Additional hours can be added at any time at £38 per hour and are invoiced upfront before any further work begins.

Do you work outside of standard hours?

My standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Work requested outside of these hours is possible but will incur a surcharge. Retainer clients are charged at £42 per hour and ad hoc clients at £45 per hour for any out of hours work.

Payment

Payment is required in full before any work begins. All invoices are due within 7 days by BACS transfer. Where payment is not received within 7 days, a 10% penalty fee will be applied for every week the invoice remains outstanding and work will be paused until the balance is settled.
